Seismic Imaging at UH Mānoa

We listen to the Earth. Dr. Helen Janiszewski’s research group uses onshore and offshore seismic imaging to reveal the structure of subduction zones and volcanoes, and what it tells us about earthquakes and magma. Current work spans the Cascadia, Alaska-Aleutian, and Vanuatu subduction zones and Hawaiian volcanism.
